Elizabeth Park Marina, located in Trenton, Michigan, sits like an emerald jewel along the banks of the Detroit River, and features over 1,300 feet of river walk for fishing and river watching. The marina is located across from island of Grosse Ile and provides easy access up and down the Detroit River. It’s a great place to stop between Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair. Elizabeth Park Marina and Boat Launch provides four launching and four loading wells and a 52-slip mooring facility. The facility has utility hookup, pump station and new shower facility. This award-winning transient marina was built in 1993 through an Urban Waterways Grant.
It is part of Elizabeth Park which is managed by the Trenton Parks and Recreation Department and is small, clean and quiet. The restroom facilities are large and very clean and include a laundry and Wi-Fi. The marina crew is friendly, helpful and does a good job of taking care of the place. The cost for a week’s stay is one of the most reasonable on all the lakes and with the added bonus of having several excellent restaurants a short walk into town. In addition Elizabeth Park also offers activities such as softball, cycling, in-line skating, a stake board park and hiking. There are two picnic shelters, one ball diamond and two picnic areas available for rental located at this park just outside or the marina. You can bring your children on the weekends for a pony ride or a stroll along the shoreline. We encourage you to attend our special events at Elizabeth Park, such as “Somewhere in Time”, where you can take a stroll back in time to the late 1920’s or “Jazz on the River”, where you can sit on the river and listen to the best music in town.
The Marina is open 24 hours a day from April 1 to October 31.
